Ebony gets ISO 9001: 2000 Certification

New Delhi, 15, February 2006: Ebony Retail Holding, the country's leading fashion & lifestyle retailer has been awarded the ISO certification. The coveted ISO 9001-2000 certification has been conferred to Ebony after assessing its process efficiencies through various stages of buying and merchandising, warehousing, HR, F&A, marketing and retailing of various branded and customized merchandise from the company's South Extension store in New Delhi.

The development has brought to light a new phase in the Indian Retail Industry where retailers are now coming forward for ISO certification. Until recently, ISO certification was a subject matter of interest mainly for manufactures and export houses. This also marks a renewed focus of Ebony on managing its services in a better manner.
